Blur private details in a chat screenshot

Cover names, phone numbers, profile photos, notification previews, or any area you do not want to share. Draw boxes directly on the screenshot, then download a flattened PNG.

01

Choose every private area

Names, avatars, numbers, dates, notification banners, and nearby context can identify a person even when the main message is hidden.

02

Use cover for certainty

A solid cover is the strongest visual removal. Blur is useful for casual sharing, but inspect the exported image at full size.

03

Keep the original

The tool does not save either version. Store the original privately and share only the flattened redacted PNG.

FAQ

Private screenshot editing

Is the screenshot uploaded?

No. Loading, redacting, and PNG creation happen in this browser tab. The image is not sent to MsgPort or Cloudflare.

Can someone remove the cover later?

The downloaded PNG is flattened, so it does not contain separate editable boxes. Always inspect the final image and use solid cover for sensitive information.

Does the tool recognize message text?

No. There is no OCR or text extraction. You manually choose every area to hide.

How do I export more than one screenshot?

Use MsgPort on iPhone to recognize a sequence of chat screenshots or a screen recording and export PDF, CSV, or TXT.
